This policy describes what AlertsArena collects and how it's used.

What we collect

Account data: when you subscribe, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and email address via Discord OAuth. Billing data: payments are processed by Stripe; we store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never your card number. Usage data: when you open a shared link we log the click with a truncated hash of your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and a referral cookie (30 days) used to attribute signups to the person who shared the link. Community activity: your Discord messages in AlertsArena channels are governed by Discord's own terms and visible to the community.

How we use it

To provide the Service: granting channel access for active subscriptions, processing payments, sending service messages (welcome, billing, access changes), attributing referrals, and keeping published records accurate. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers only, as needed to run the Service: Stripe (payments), Discord (community and access), our hosting providers (DigitalOcean, Google Workspace), and analytics limited to the click logs described above. Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We may disclose data if required by law.

Retention & your rights

Subscription and ledger records are retained for as long as needed for accurate published records, accounting, and legal compliance. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data (subject to records we must keep, e.g. billing) by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have additional rights, which we honor on request.

Cookies

We use a single functional referral-attribution cookie (30 days) and no third-party advertising cookies.
